CAB Brand Builders Seminar Set

WOOSTER, OHIO (June 2, 2006) Angus seedstock producers are invited to attend a Brand Builders seminar June 28-29 at the Certified Angus Beef LLC (CAB) corporate office in Wooster, Ohio. If you want to better understand the dynamic branded beef industry, make your marketing efforts count and increase profitability, this program offers a unique perspective.

The program will offer attendees the opportunity to:

  • Discover how CAB’s rich history, science-based specifications and brand assurance systems have taken it to the No. 1 position in the premium beef market worldwide.
  • Explore the structure and emerging trends within the foodservice and retail industries and how the Program operates within these global market segments.
  • Focus on the trends in cattle qualifying for the brand and available premiums, as well as the research behind why cattle miss the high-quality target.
  • Review research studies validating the positive economic impact of high-quality beef production and the value of Angus genetics.
  • Walk through exercises on branding concepts and marketing plan development, and build a cohesive and effective marketing plan for the ranch.
  • Gain tools to communicate the consumer value and profitability of Angus genetics to bull-buying customers in promotional efforts.
  • Learn about opportunities for seedstock producers and feedlots to work together and provide customers with value-added marketing opportunities.

To attend, you must be a member of the American Angus Association. CAB will cover hotel, meal, shuttle and program expenses — everything but airfare to the Cleveland (or Akron) airport or mileage to the Wooster office.

Space is limited to the first 50, and some have already reserved a spot. Register, learn more and see a detailed agenda at www.cabpartners.com or call Marilyn at 1-800-225-2333.
