Angus Foundation to Celebrate 25th Silver Anniversary

On Nov. 12, the Angus Foundation will be celebrating its 25th Silver Anniversary at its annual supporter recognition and fund-raising event at Louisville, Ky., in conjunction with the North American International Livestock Exposition (NAILE). In commemoration of this special occasion, a one-of-a-kind Angus Foundation 25th Silver Anniversary American Black Angus Commemorative Winchester® 30-30 Rifle will be offered at auction by the Angus Foundation. A priceless piece of Angus history, this exclusive silver (brushed nickel) rifle is an exact duplicate of the 250 rifles offered in 1996 by the American Angus Association, and it will be the only silver (brushed nickel) one made!

Only supporters of $250 or more to the Angus Foundation in fiscal year (FY) 2005 (Oct. 1, 2004, to Sept. 30, 2005) will be invited to this supporter recognition event and fund-raiser. As a reward, they will have the special privilege of bidding on this priceless “1 of 1” Angus and family heirloom. Proceeds from the sale of the rifle will support the Angus Foundation’s education, youth and research programs.

You, too, can have this privilege by contributing $250 or more by Sept. 30, reserving your invitation to this special supporter recognition and fund-raising event to commemorate the Angus Foundation’s 25th Silver Anniversary. For more information or to view a photo of the rifle, visit www.angusfoundation.org or call Angus Foundation Director of Development, Milford Jenkins, at (816) 383-5163.
