Angus Outreach Seminar in Georgia

The American Angus Association will continue a series of Outreach Seminars in effort to boost communications with the membership. An Outreach Seminar is planned for Tuesday, March 1 at the Tifton Bull & Evaluation Center near Irwinville, Ga. Association staff will provide updates on Association programs including AngusSource and current performance program enhancements.

 In addition, breeders will have an opportunity to provide input to Association staff and directors during interactive discussions about ways the Association can best serve members today and in the future.

“We will be meeting in Georgia to update our members on the latest happenings with their Association programs,” says Jim Shirley, vice president of industry relations for the Association.  “We encourage our producers to attend to share their ideas with the staff.”

The Seminar is set for March 1 at the Tifton Bull & Evaluation Center near Irwinville ,Ga.  The seminar will begin at 2 p.m., at the Center, which is 2 miles west of Irwinville on Highway 32.

The meeting will last approximately three hours.  Reservations are not required.  However, those interested in attending are encouraged to reply to Linda Campbell at 816-383-5143 or at lcampbell@angus.org, so staff can plan appropriately.
