A more comprehensive schedule of the 2005 Cattle Industry Annual Convention & Trade Show, themed "Riding Point for the Industry," has been posted to www.4cattlemen.com. Visit the site now for times and room assignments of general sessions, council meetings, educational seminars and committee meetings to be conducted at the Feb. 2-5 event in San Antonio, Texas.

Compiled by Angus Productions Inc. staff with sponsorship by Boehringer Ingelheim Vetmedica, Inc., the site features updated schedules and meeting summaries, and will host real-time coverage of joint and individual meetings by five industry organizations, including the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA), the Cattlemen’s Beef Promotion & Research Board (CBB), the American National CattleWomen Inc. (ANCW), Cattle-Fax and the National Cattlemen’s Foundation (NCF).

Coverage will also feature summaries of presentations made at the educational Cattlemen’s College®, sponsored by Pfizer Animal Health, as well as news and information as it happens.

Angus in the Industry
The Association will host a producer meeting during the 2005 Cattle Industry Annual Convention & Trade Show. An extension of the Outreach Seminars, "Tools for Success" will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 4, in the Alamo Ballroom, Salon C, at the Marriott Riverwalk Hotel. The meeting will feature information on $Value Indexes and AngusSource.

The Association, along with Certified Angus Beef LLC (CAB) and API, will also have booths at the trade show. While in San Antonio, be sure to stop by booths 2047 and 1017 to visit with Association and API staff, respectively.
