Association to host informational forum in Louisville
The Association will host a breeders’ informational forum on Sunday, Nov. 16, preceding the open forum for candidates and delegates at the American Angus Association Annual Meeting in Louisville, Ky. “Achieve Angus Excellence Through Information” is the title of the program. It will include presentations from four Association staff members.

Matt Perrier, director of commercial programs, will tell breeders how they can “Create Opportunities” for themselves and their customers with the newly enhanced AngusSource program.
Bill Bowman, director of performance programs, and Sally Dolezal, genetic research director, will demonstrate ways to “Identify and Implement Relevant Technologies” during their presentation. They will talk about the first phase of unique value-based tools for selecting Angus genetics and the new technologies available to combine growth and end product expected progeny differences (EPDs) into functional, dollar-based indexes to measure postweaning and carcass merit.
