Welcome to the Angus e-List

Association Offers Angus Tour to Scotland
September 30-October 12

The American Angus Association is proud to offer a tour to Scotland, the home of the Angus breed, to members this fall.

John Crouch, executive vice president of the American Angus Association, received notice from Eddie Gillanders, president of the Northeast Scotland Aberdeen-Angus of an event called the "Merial® Thousand Cow Tour," which will be held in Aberdeen.

The setting of the event, which marks the 30th anniversary of the club, is in the beautiful highlands of northern Scotland, the birthplace of the Angus breed. Association travel agent Terry L. Steele has planned an itinerary that is very exciting, visiting many sites of interest and several Scottish Angus herds along the way.

This tour will feature the "Merial® Thousand Cow Tour" plus much, much more. The dates of the tour for the U.S. delegation are September 30-October 12, 2002.

Since we were given short notice of this opportunity, time is of the essence if you plan on joining us for the event! More information, a tentative schedule and costs can be found at www.anchorsawaycruises.com/angusscotland/.

To reserve a space contact Terry L. Steele, Anchors Away, by calling 800-527-8666, ext. 203, by fax at 727-738-1724 or by e-mail at terrys@anchorsawaycruises.com before August 16, 2002. Only 30 places are available on this tour, so act now!
