Welcome to the fourteenth issue of Angus e-List

Drought Site Provides Relief for Cattle Producers

Lack of rain and little subsoil moisture is a problem for cattle producers in some areas across the country. Drought conditions create management headaches in terms of water shortages, grass/hay management and culling decisions. With this in mind, and as a service to our breeders, the Angus Productions Inc. (API) Web marketing department has updated a comprehensive drought Web site, first developed in June 2000. The site can be accessed at www.angusjournal.com/drought.

The site contains a variety information about dealing with drought, including Angus Journal stories, news releases, links, where to find hay, and the current drought conditions.

Thanks to our sponsor of the site, Pfizer Animal Health, for making this project possible.
